Lost in Toyland is an artistic project by Gilles Tricoire that takes us deep into the fascinating world of plastic toys: cheap, colorful, familiar, yet loaded with deeper stories. These figures embody archetypes, heroes, role models, legends, inspired by pop culture, social media, video games, mythology, and consumer society.

” The White Cloche ” – 2026

The project hijacks the codes of traditional toys to turn them into narrative art objects. Lost in Toyland brings to life an alternative world: vibrant, unsettling, poetic. It’s a grown-up reinterpretation of childhood imagination, both playful and critical.
