About

Lost in Toyland is an artistic project by Gilles Tricoire that takes us deep into the fascinating world of plastic toys: cheap, colorful, familiar, yet loaded with deeper stories. These figures embody archetypes, heroes, role models, legends, inspired by pop culture, social media, video games, mythology, and consumer society.

The project hijacks the codes of traditional toys to turn them into narrative art objects. Each piece is modeled, 3D-printed, and then hand-finished. Lost in Toyland brings to life an alternative world: vibrant, unsettling, poetic. It’s a grown-up reinterpretation of childhood imagination, both playful and critical.
